now comes the hard part. do i want to stay in advertising and/or media? do i want anything that comes along? i don’t want anything that comes along. so far, i think i reviewed about 150 jobs on monster.com this morning, which was a completely mixed bag: marketing, advertising, administrative, food service…
casting a very wide net to see what i might stumble across. nothing terribly interesting so far.
so, outside of letting chance manage my fate, what would my ideal next job be? something i could be more passionate about: not-for-profit, arts, animals, culinary, music. managing budgets, marketing, advertising; writing; educating…
until then, i’m urging former colleagues to recommend me on linkedin.com, and just sending the message far and wide. next week, i might have to start “dropping by” organizations, stores, restaurants. that’s b/c next week is when i start to really worry.
for now, its me and the sea*.
sea*: linkedin.com, monster.com, indeed.com, talentzoo.com, careerbuilder.com, and occasionally cragistlist.org
